Bad Bettie Project fosters an authentic community of online and IRL friendships for more than 3,000 millennial women, non binary folx, and those who are otherwise marginalized in our communities across the country.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusivity

Inclusion is how we unleash the power of diversity. We strive to foster belonging and empowerment for women, non binary folx, and those who are otherwise marginalized in our communities in Colorado, New York, and Maryland. We create and support relevant events for our diverse membership, addressing a wide range of topics and viewpoints to create authentic conversation. We listen and engage with our Betties, valuing their identities and experience, to gain feedback and continue to support our larger community as a whole. The Bad Bettie Project Board and Leadership Team welcomes respectful discussion and commentary for continued growth to better serve our diverse community.

These are NOT your average mixers and we are NOT a networking group.

Designed with introverts in mind, every Bad Bettie Project event is made to create lasting connections and unite our members.

We host major events throughout the year as well as multiple meet-ups each month. Get plugged into your local chapter or follow us on Facebook & Instagram to stay plugged in to our upcoming events.

“This community has helped me in more ways than I could ever imagine. It’s so much more than a social circle, they’re your sisters. Your mother. Your best friend and your confidant. Thanks for all you do!”

How to Get Involved

If you’re actively seeking community, join one of our local chapters! Our chapters are entirely free to join and where the fun happens. If you’re based outside of Colorado, Maryland or New York and would like to inquire about starting a chapter in your area, please contact us!

We are always looking for volunteers to help in a myriad of ways! From moderating our online community to helping with social media, we love giving our members volunteer opportunities that fit their skills and career goals. Reach out if you’re interested in volunteering!

Making a contribution to our Emergency Bettie Fund directly supports young women in need. The fund is used for short-term financial crisis situations, because one missed bill can cause a ripple effect into poverty. We aim to
break the chain.

We Love Our Members!

Bad Bettie Project is more than just a place to get social, it’s a community of like-minded women that understand the impact one missed bill can have on your entire life. That’s why we started the Emergency Bettie Fund (EBF). A mostly crowd-sourced crisis fund that our members can utilize when faced with a short-term financial issue.
